[...] It’s sort of like my trip to the eye doctor today. I can’t believe I didn’t see the metaphor for my life and that appointment earlier. [no pun intended] Anyway, I’ve been meaning to go to the eye doc and get a new script for my +.50 reading glasses. I thought that was all that I needed. Because it’s been years since I’ve taken my eye problems seriously. I kept thinking it was something wrong with something else. Pictures have soft focus? Must be the camera was off that day. Can’t see at night? Must be the head lights on the car. Getting a headache from computer/reading work? Must just bee too much time in front of the lappy. And hey, when I actually took some time to take care of myself, it turns out that what I really needed was glasses, so that I could see clearly. That I had been living my life with these problems, blaming so many other things, and really, I just needed someone to show me what I had been missing. [...]

I hear that. Jumby sleeps until 8:30 - 9am. Or he's just happily playing in his "cage" and I don't disturb him. He maintains well enough on his own with his breakfast and dumptruck, so our mornings are quiet and generally relaxing. I save my "getting things done" for right after he goes to bed. That generally means cleaning, because there is just no point in cleaning while he can still make another mess. [Also, he is caged in the den, with access to his bedroom only, so it keeps the bullshit to that area] J still has his man room, and if I'm cleaning and find something that is his and he should have put away, I just calmly loft it in there and close the door. Chances are, he won't even ask where it is, and now I don't have to look at it anymore. As for the gym, I MAKE myself go. They only have childcare at certain times, so its sort of the incentive. Everything else can wait while I get my supermodel on for an hour or two. :]

I really don't know how you even make time to go to they Gym. I'd love to go to the gym you know I am whole 10 pounds from my goal but I seem to be gaining more cause well...I CAN"T FIND THE TIME! I feel stressed, nothing seems to just be finished or caught up. I can get ready to go to the gym but as I am heading out the door I see all the stuff that needs to get done. And well that pulls me back. I would like to know, how do moms have the energy to get up and go? Mornings are my worst, it takes me till almost noon to muster up energy or any motivation to get shit done. I just can't do it, no matter how much I try.
